Wastelands: XXXII European Architecture Students Assembly is an event of major international scope, promoting not only Finland but also the institutions and companies based here. A sponsorship is not only a typical corporate operation within the framework of publicity and marketing, but also a substantial expression of participation in the cultural and architectural life of Finland.

The event brings together a selection of the most adventurous, inventive, independent, well-rounded, thought-provoking and skilled young architects, architecture students and design professionals in Europe. Generally, members are either in sight of completing their architectural education or have recently finished, and are a highly-motivated, principled and energetic group. It is a valuable opportunity to advertise to new and expanding markets throughout Europe amongst a highly-influential professional society.

While being organized by a non-profit association (EASAFINLAND RY) consisting of young designers, architects and students of architecture, financial sponsorship is both urgently needed and greatly appreciated in order to provide as much resources as possible to workshops and lectures; the most visible output of the annual assembly.
